Hello all third grade families!
Our Recorder unit is coming to an end, and all of the students are working hard in preparation for their Recorder Concert. Please join us in the Pine Glen cafeteria on June 8, 2011, at 9:00 a.m. for a fabulous display of recorder music. The concert will be immediately followed by an Author’s Tea in the third grade classrooms. Can’t wait to see you all there!

Hello Everyone! The concert video is up for viewing! It truly was a great performance.
Way back in Febrauary the 4th and 5th grade students at Pine Glen traveled to the computer lab for music class. During that time they used a music notation program to create original melodies of their own. Mr. Callahan, after hours of work, has posted these audio files online for you to listen to, as well as put together a short video of our experience in the lab.

Congratulations to all of the 4th and 5th graders who participated in our Spring Concert last night! The performance was fantastico! I’m sure all the composers we were honoring would agree as well. Thank you students for all your hard work and dedication so that this concert could be a success. Additional thank yous go out to the wodnerful faculty and staff of Pine Glen School that support us every day and help make these programs possible! Lastly, thank you to all the family and friends who attended and truly made it a night to remember! I will be posting video of the concert as soon as possible.
